STONINGTON – The
first housing exterior of the five Admiral Cove properties under construction
on Whitehall Ave. in Old Mystic is nearly finished.
Once completed
sometime this summer, Tony Silvestri of the Silvestri Development Group says
there will be an open house. The cost of this five bedroom home will start at
three million dollars.
The single family
houses should attract many buyers since they feature waterfront views of the
Mystic River.
The homes are being
constructed on one acre lots in the Nantucket style. This design includes stone
siding and shingles on each home.
The properties will
also come with a home theatre, wine cellar, pool, dock measuring six feet wide,
stone fireplace, three-car attached garage, gourmet indoor and outdoor
kitchens, and natural stone terraces, Silvestri adds.
The project was
financed by Chelsea Groton Bank and designed by architect Peter McDonald and
landscape architect Brian Kent and Associates.
The remaining four
Admiral Cove homes will be completed in an estimated three years.
